H.1826: An Act to promote public safety and better outcomes for young adults (Raise the Age)

This bill increases the age of criminal majority from 18 to 21 over the course of the next 5 years. By treating juveniles as juveniles and allowing them to enter a juvenile system, as opposed to adult systems, the Commonwealth can increase their likelihood of successful rehabilitation and in turn reduce the rate of recidivism amongst that population.
